Country and city
The words country (in its political-geographical understanding) and state denote concepts that are close in meaning, but not identical, although in some cases the term country is used as a full synonym for the state (in such cases, the political country is meant as the territory of the state).
The concept of the state covers, first of all, the structure of domination, established in a certain territory and continuously renewed as a result of the joint actions of people. On the contrary, the concept of a country has a more capacious cultural, historical, socio-economic content than a political one, and therefore includes concepts that define the characteristics of the local national community (mentality, customs, language, and so on).
A city is a large settlement whose inhabitants are, as a rule, engaged in non-agriculture. It has a developed complex of economy and economy. It is an accumulation of architectural and engineering structures that ensure the vital activity of the permanent and temporary population of the city.
